“Music has always been my talent since I was born, and my very first instrument was the piano. I started playing around age 8 and was introduced to Ms. Lisa Ollerman. Most teachers you could say stick to a certain criteria and are strict and particular all the time. This does not apply so much to Ms. Lisa. She has made playing a real adventure and journey all through my piano lesson career.

She has explored music and always does based on her students. Yes there are many pieces she follows and wants everyone to learn to play, but she also lets her students pick, choose and explore what music interests them so they can play the best they ever have.

She chooses music that students want to do and she lets students connect with music in their own way too. Playing music should always be a joy and a want to do sort of thing. Ms. Lisaalways makes that possible. She holds amazing concerts, where kids dress up for Halloween, Christmas and makes concerts fun and eventful. It is always something I love and look forward to.

Concerts with her are a fun event, not competitive at all and it is no contest. The goal shewants is everyone to play and have fun while doing it, to show off the real talent each of her individuals have.

Music has been a part of her life, and she loves the joy of teaching in a fun connecting way. She is very relatable to her students and wants a connection, both personally
